Juniper Green Energy Signs MoU With GUVNL
Independent power producer Juniper Green Energy announced on July 30 2025 that it has signed a power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) for a 100 MW wind project. The agreement has been signed between GUVNL and Juniper Green Energy subsidiary Juniper Green Bess Two Pvt Ltd.
Under the term of the PPA, Juniper Green Energy will begin supplying wind power to GUVNL by 2027. The term of the PPA is 25 years.
In addition, Juniper said it has also received a Letter of Intent from GUVNL to develop an additional 50 MW under its 2025 wind tender.
Speaking about the signing, Ankush Malik, CEO, Juniper Green Energy, said “We are proud to partner with GUVNL to deliver sustainable wind power. With the signing of a 100 MW PPA and the additional 50 MW of LoI received from GUVNL, Juniper Green Energy further strengthens its presence in Gujarat and reinforces its commitment to advancing India’s renewable targets.”
Juniper’s 100MW wind project for GUVNL follows their 2024 PPA for a 90 MW wind project for the state of Gujarat.
